T'ai Chi is an ancient form of meditative exercise and is an internal chinese art practised for both its defense training and its health benefits. T'ai chi theories and practice are belived to have come from Tasoit and Buddhist monasteries dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Medical research has found evidence that t'ai chi is helpful for improving balance and for general psychological health, and that it is associated with general health benefits in older people.
Some of the benefits of T'ai Chi include: improves stress and anxiety, improves flexibility, balance and inner strength. Exercise all the muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments.
